Yummies on Stockport Road in Cheadle serves as a straightforward, family-run café and takeout spot that fits neatly into the daily rhythms of locals, commuters, and travelers alike. Its location just off the motorway makes it an easy stop for anyone looking to grab a substantial breakfast or a quick meal without the fuss of larger chains or diner-style franchises.

The atmosphere here is relaxed and unpretentious, typical of a neighborhood café where the focus is clearly on solid, straightforward food rather than frills. People tend to drop by in the morning hours, often before hitting the busy M62 or after early commutes, making it a practical choice for those who want a hot, freshly cooked start to their day. The place maintains a clean, no-nonsense vibe, with friendly staff who seem used to serving a steady stream of regulars alongside passing visitors.

Yummies appeals most to people after a hearty, familiar breakfast or a quick, well-priced bite. The food is meeting expectations for classic café fare: nothing flashy but reliably cooked to order. Customer remarks about classic fry-ups, with essentials like sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, and toast, reinforce the impression of a solid café menu that keeps customers coming back over the years. Drinks are available, though some feel the prices for chilled beverages lean slightly high compared to the food.

Whether you’re local to Cheadle or passing through on business or travel, Yummies plays the role of a dependable breakfast and takeout café. The best time to visit is early morning or just before midday to avoid peak rush and enjoy a freshly made meal. It's less about lingering over coffee and more about enjoying a warm plate and a quick respite before continuing on with your day.

Well it's a family owned cafe not a chain and it's close to the motorway. My wife and I popped in for a breakfast. It was a very nice one all cooked fresh so so nice and hot. I had baked beans with mine whereas my wife had tinned tomatoes. 2 slices of toast each and a large mug of coffee and tea. It had 2 sausages, 2 bacon, a nicely fried egg and slice of black pudding as well as mushrooms. Clean toilets, some mags to read and nice staff and owner. Great value at just under a tenner for both. Fabulous.

Absolutely amazing. Wether we're getting a bacon sausage and egg barm...or a breakfast...never had a problem at all. Drinks in fridge are a tad overpriced but u expect that at cafes...the food is very fairly priced. Staff are very nice and attentive. 5*
